The captain may be young but he doesn’t lack experience he had us on the fish catching big reds one after the other way before other boats started to arrive..by then it was to late for them we were in the sweet spot..other boats basically sat and watched us bring them in..the crew was friendly and professional and took care of all our needs promptly..I enjoyed catching the fish but it was cool talking smack to the other boats watching us catch em..I would recommend this trip with these guys to anyone interested in going..I know who I will be calling if we decide to go again.. thanks fellas

We do a lot of boat charters when we travel and this is one of the best ones we have seen (without spending thousands of dollars and going deep sea). The captain and mate were so much fun and they clearly knew and loved what they were doing. We started the day catching enough to fill our fridge, then we went for and caught a jack C to use for bait. Then we went trolling for sharks and caught 2 (which we, if course, released). We ended up running over time because the second one took forever to reel in - and the guys were so accommodating and great.

The boat was super and had plenty of muscle to navigate the windy Galveston area without anyone feeling unsafe or getting sick. It was perfect for fishing. The only caveat is that if you are looking to lounge around (which I sometimes like to just ride along while my family fishes) then you need to check ahead and be sure they put you on a boat with accommodating seating - this one didn’t have seating for that. But if you want to fish, this is the boat for you - clean and uncluttered for when you need to walk and reel in those big ones.

Oh - I almost forgot the dolphins… they LOVE to follow around the fishing boats. We saw over 50. Forget the dolphin tours - go fishing!

Took my son and friend for a short deep sea trip since my son (5 years old) had not been deep sea fishing before. Had a blast while we were out. They put us on the fish. Unfortunately very few were legal to keep. It was a blast. The only downside was the time constraint of 6 hours. I know next time we will be booking a longer trip out. Made alot of great memories with my kid and best friend.

Cap’n Dan and the trip was amazing.  Although we didn’t catch a ton a fish, we had a blast catching bait and plying keep away with the dolphins. Bonus…we did catch a shark! Highly recommend Cap’n Dan!

With 2 young kids, we opted for the 3 hours trip which was definitely a good choice. We also went in the morning and avoided the heat which made the trip even more pleasant. We all loved it. We caught only small fish and almost at the end, we got a shark!!! Captain Saul was cool, patient with us and always helpful. We definitely recommend.
