Full Day TripWe just wrapped up an incredible 3-day fishing charter out of Port Hardy with Scott from Emerald Sea Adventures, and I can't recommend him enough. His boat and fishing equipment are top-tier, and his knowledge of the local waters is second to none. We completely slaughtered the bottom fish (especially the lingcod) and pulled in some fantastic salmon and halibut! To top it all off, Scott spotted whales and dolphins for us along the way. He’s super easygoing, warm, and great company on the water. Thank you for an unforgettable trip, Scott!

Full Day TripThis is our third year of chartering with Capt Scott onboard Rums Hot. Capt Scott is an extremely knowledgeable guide. The last 2 years we limited out and this year the salmon were scarce but we were not disappointed. The pics do not show our whole catch. I caught my first big "dragon" on this day and you can tell by the grin it was awesome. Lots of fish to take home and I prefer the white fish over the salmon. Lots of whales, Sea Otters some Orca's and great weather. We will be booking again next year. Thanks Scott

Full Day Trip • 2 adultsWir haben insgesamt 8 verschiedene Fischarten gefangen. Von Konigslachs über Silberlachs bis hin zu sehr großen Lingcod. Sehr erfahrener Kapitän, der alles sehr gut erklärt und sich auch mit Natur und Umwelt auskennt. Vielen Dank Scott für den sehr schönen Angelausflug.

Season starting to warm up

Half day with family area 12 just out of the harbour in Hardy. Everyone got their ling cod. Unfortunately we ahad to return the halibut just over the legal size at 117 cm.

Cold weather prawn and crabbing

Trip with friends two traps total 24, 7 inch plus keepers kept 3 limits and returned the rest guest went home with 12 crabs and 250 spot prawn they enjoyed a BBQ on the boat when the sun broke through the fog

Starting the cold weather Crab and prawn

First pull of the traps for of thls falls crab and prawns. Full limlt of nice big Dungeness crabs biggest just shy of nine across the back and too many prawns to count kept a limit 125 jumbos and released as least as many jumbo’s with eggs.

2025 Seasons coming to a close
Fishing is starting to slow down with most Salmon heading back to their home rivers to finish their life’s journey and lay to start of their future.
Bottom fish are still going strong.
Already can not wait for next years season to start. Its been an awesome season. I can not thank the people I’ve met this season enough. Wish you all tight lines in your future endeavours and hope we can do this again.
