Crew was great, very nice and knowledgeable. We caught a bunch of fish and a different variety. They were well stocked on bait and they cleaned and cut the mahi mahi for us.  We took it home and it was delicious. Highly recommend them for fishing in Aruba

Lucky Star is definitely highly recommended for anyone looking for some good fishing out of Aruba, especially for bottom fishing and any other options. Though the boat can become crowded for a party larger than four or five people, it will not get in the way of some positive fishing and also positive hospitality out its crew as well as perfect timing for any specific hour of the day that someone wants to go for fishing, be it the morning (6-10), afternoon, (10-2), or even some night fishing (2-6/6-12).... The captain and mate were on time, very educational and patient. Coming from Florida and Ohio, we wanted the full experience and we got it! We learned about the fish, the island, the culture and relaxed while we soaked in the views. We caught a 50 lb wahoo and they cleaned our catch before we took it to the resort to eat for dinner! Real deal fishing with true locals who appreciate their homeland.

The day we went it was super windy which is completely out of there control but we did the trolling and bottom fishing. The trolling was great. We got two tuna. The bottom fishing was fighting with the anchor and trying to find a spot. I’m not sure there had a “spot” to catch fish with bottom fishing. We caught iguana fish, small Grouper, a small eel and one decent Trigger fish in four hours with a party of six. This is best as a trolling charter. The older gentleman on the boat had great... More
