Reds/Trout Fishing is HOT

It has been non stop action for last several weeks and is only getting better! Throwing artificial lures is what we love to do and thats exactly what the trout want! The red fishing has been pretty good throwing live bait under corks along grass lines and in backwater marshes. Dont wait to book come get in on the fun!

September has been a great month of fishing for us but big things are coming October and November. These 2 coming months are always some of the best fishing months for our estuary if your interested in booking just do it you wont regret coming in October or November

the water was very muddy and the rain kept us from leaving the launch at a decent time but we still managed to catch 30 big reds it was a great and fun trip with some awesome guys

Had a blast! Highly recommend. We have been with alot of guides trying to find one to stick with for a yearly trip. This is definitely the one, caught a lot of fish even though conditions were not fairable. Capt. Conlon with Gills and Bills was far above the rest. Will definitely see you again next year and hopefully many more.

First day out my son and grandson caught a good mess of fish especially considering the fishing conditions. The second day we were not so lucky and did not catch much of anything due to the conditions. The fishing was mostly fishing in the ship channeling which was not what I expected but that was my problem. I’d like to clarify a few details for anyone considering a trip with us. Before your charter, we discussed the current fishing conditions and the available options. I explained that meeting farther south would have increased the odds of catching trout based off current conditions. I also recommended targeting redfish closer to the casino area, where guides had been consistently catching limits.

While I made recommendations based on the current conditions, the final decision was yours, and you chose for casino pickup and to target trout.

As for fishing the ship channel, that’s actually where the best trout bite typically is during this time of year. While it may not have been what you expected, it was the location that offered the best opportunity based on the seasonal conditions.

Fishing is never guaranteed, and weather, tides, water clarity, and fish movement change daily. We always do our best to communicate current conditions honestly and recommend the option that gives our customers the best chance for success.
