- Background
- I became an angler at a young age, thanks to my dad, who introduced me to fishing. Some of my earliest memories are of him patiently teaching me how to cast a line, how to read the water, and how to appreciate the quiet moments by the shore. Those trips, filled with laughter, learning, and the excitement of catching my first fish, sparked a lifelong love for the sport. Over the years, fishing has become more than just a hobby—its my true passion that I love to share with others one cast at a time.
- Techniques
- For inshore charters, my preferred fishing techniques focus on maximizing the excitement and efficiency of the trip. Live bait fishing is a go-to method, especially when targeting species like redfish, snook, or trout. Using live shrimp, mullet, or pinfish can be incredibly effective in attracting fish in the shallower waters. Casting artificial lures, such as soft plastics, jerk baits, or topwater plugs, is another favorite technique, especially when I’m looking to entice aggressive species or get the perfect strike. Each of these methods offers a unique thrill, depending on the conditions and what we’re after!
