Fished the Niagara River with Mike last year and had a great time. Hooked into kings, steelhead, browns and lakers. He’s been doing it for years and is a great guide who will get you on fish. Along with the fishing, the scenery is great in the fall as well.

*Niagara River Adventures – Fishing Report* *Thursday, October 23* We had an awesome day on the water today! The bite was steady throughout the morning and into early afternoon, with plenty of hookups and even more fish that got away. The most productive window was between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., when the action really picked up. Most of our bites came on Pro-Cure Red Hot Double Stuff cured skein, which proved to be the hot bait of the day. Water visibility held around 5 feet, providing great conditions for both anglers and fish. Overall, a fantastic outing with lots of excitement and bent rods on the Niagara! Come up and fish with us!

Niagara River Fall Fishing Report: Stron

Oct 8, 2025 • Niagara Falls
The fall season is finally here, and we’ve kicked things off on the Niagara River with an exciting start to our guided fishing adventures! We began fishing in early October, and while the salmon run is just starting to build, we’ve already seen solid action for this early in the season. Over two days, our crew landed a dozen salmon, with several more hook-ups that kept rods bent and adrenaline high. The water clarity has been exceptional, which made the bite a little trickier than usual — the fish could see everything — but with the right presentation and patience, the rewards were worth it. Our most productive setups have been fresh skein, bright spinners, and a variety of lures, depending on current and light conditions. These early runs are just a preview of what’s to come, and based on the movement we’re already seeing, this season is shaping up to be an epic one. As temperatures drop and the salmon push further upriver, expect the action to heat up fast, with steelhead and lake trout soon joining the mix.
