We were very lucky to find Leonardo through the platform. Even though we contacted him just a day before our trip and there were no available slots, he still managed to organize everything for us. Captain Leo clearly loves sharing his traditional knowledge with clients. He let us do as much as we were comfortable with, which meant we could drop the bait, monitor depth, and detect bites, and reel up the fish.  He was very helpful teaching and showing, and he would go through the motions for us if we asked. We went on a fishing trip with Captain Leo for our friend’s birthday, who is an avid fisherman. Captain Leo was very kind and endeavored to provide for us a save and relaxed experience. This fishing trip provides a unique experience to those who wish to learn the traditional azorean way of fishing and is worlds apart from the trips you’d find in large touristic ports. It was a Great Trip with Leo. Me and my 2 Kids (8 and 13) really enjoyed Full 4 hours on the sea. Leo had live vests for the kids but we felt absolutely Safe all the time. We catched all our fishes for Dinner. Delicious. Leo told us about knots and all about fishing and served us Snacks and Drinks. Ist was a Perfect Trip. Highly recommend! Thanks Leo

This was the first time fishing for my ten year old son. Leo took great care of us and took us to some amazing fishing spots. My son caught several fish and was very proud. Leo prepared the fish for us and the kitchen at our hotel in Ponte Delgada grilled it for us. It was an amazing adventure!
