Thank you for a 5-star rating! Today was tough in that water was dirty, probably due to swell from approaching Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaiah. But we moved around, fished some skinny water and found some Flounder, Sea Robins and Sandshark. Best of all we’re the smiles and laughter I heard as the boat jumped waves, competition amongst fishers and as kids caught fish. That’s all that matters! :)

Thank you for recommending Wee Cat Charters. Two hours is a short trip, but pictures show we caught a lot of fish (flounder, puffer, dogfish and sea robins). The customer’s confusion over what he could keep was discussed on the boat. Federal and state laws govern minimum size limits for fish. Flounder are required to be 18”. Anything under that limit must be returned to the water. Catching a legal sized fish requires some skill. So, it’s a challenge for first time fishers, on a short trip, this part of season (when large flounder have mostly migrated out to the ocean), to catch and boat large fish. I baited, dropped and removed fish from all their lines, moved to several fishing spots and took pictures for customers. A safe and soft boat ride was provided. Rain coats were offered. A follow-up “Thank You!” message and pictures of trip were sent to the customer. Every fisher should understand a “keeper” (or catching) is NEVER guaranteed when fishing, but we try hard to make that happen.

Thank you, Bryan! It was a terrific morning fishing trip. Every time I attempted to fish, someone yelled “Fish on!” and I grabbed the net, instead. Waking up a little early definitely paid off. I hope to see you guys back again. 🎣👍

Thank you, Rich! I was very happy with our charter fishing trip. You have a teriffic family and they were quite the fishers, too. We caught several species of fish, got to see tjat huge flock of Oystercatchers and watched that big Herring gull try and try to sneak on the boat, whole we had out bsvks turned, to steal our bait. ?
