Me and my son wanted to go on a chartered fishing trip for his graduation trip, I looked for weeks to find a fishing charter in the Pensacola area. I chose Reel Way Charters with Capt Kenny because he has great reviews. And he did not disappoint. Seas were rough, but he did a great job navigating the rough seas and he put us on some Kingfish. We had a great time and will be back again!

We were excited to go fishing with Kenny, after booking he informed us that he double booked and that we needed to change days, we rearranged all our other plans to accommodate his mistake.  We spent the majority of the time driving around and when we did catch fish he had us fishing species that weren’t in season, and that we couldn’t keep.  The fishing line was not strong enough and when we hooked a big fish it immediately broke of.  There was only one rod that had proper strength line and that was the one he was using.  He also charged us extra to have our 4 year old in the boat who wasn’t even fishing, plus we had to give over a 100 dollar “tip” for cleaning a small sandwich bag size worth of fish.  We paid over 1000 dollars when we were told the trip was 800.  On our way back he pointed out where he was taking the next group fishing, where there was in season fish that could be harvested and eaten.  It was extremely disappointing and definitely not worth over 1000 dollars for a 5 hour boat ride with maybe a total of 1.5 to 2 hours of actual fishing.  Kenny was a really nice person so I hate leaving this review but I want others to be aware so they don’t have the same experience and cost we did.

  We had a great trip with Capt. Kenny. Everything was as expected from the start.  Kenny was on the boat and ready to go when we showed up for our trip. He wasted no time getting us loaded up and on the water. We quickly hooked up on some fish and stayed busy all morning. We ended the trip with a nice box full of fish and Capt. Kenny got them all cleaned for us and on our way. I highly recommend Kenny if you are looking for a fishing guide on Pensacola Beach!

Capt. Danny is an excellent boat captain that gave a wonderful fishing experience. He was very good at teaching my grandsons about the different species of fish we caught along with helping them hold their fish, baiting a hook,  casting, and answered many other questions aspiring little fishermen wanted to learn. Thank you!!!

Captain Kenny was fantastic and we had a blast. We caught a few Kings right away and then hooked into a couple sharks. We fought a 12 foot tiger shark for nearly 2 hours and it was a once in a lifetime experience. Caught a few more fish after that and we were spent after hauling that shark. 100% worth it and recommend to anyone.
