The guys called wanting to do something different for a menโ€™s night outโ€”and nothing says that like bent rods and screaming drags. We pushed off in the late afternoon and the bite didnโ€™t disappoint. The crew worked through a steady stream of fish before things really heated up with big over-slot redfish and a heavy black drum that put them to the test. Just when they thought the night couldnโ€™t get better, a big snook crushed a bait and brought the boat alive. Good friends, great laughs, and a pile of brag-worthy catchesโ€”exactly how a menโ€™s night should go.

Ian and his two boys were in town on vacation and decided to trade beach chairs for bent rodsand what a call that was. We launched in the heat of the day, when most folks are hiding in the shade, and slid the Pathfinder into some of my favorite summertime haunts. It didnโ€™t take long before the rods doubled over. First up, an over-slot redfish that lit up the crew drag screaming, high-fives flying. Not long after, a hefty black drum joined the party, giving the boys a tug-of-war they wonโ€™t forget anytime soon. Midday fishing, big fish, and even bigger memories.

Ian shot me a call this week about getting on the water with his family and showing them some inshore fishing here in NSB. Hit the water just afternoon and found the fish pretty quickly. After missing the first bite I was a little worried the fish would have moved but just a couple mire minutes and BAM!!!! Ian was hooked up to this 39โ€ Overslot. Chased him around the boat a couple of times but finally got to net the beautiful NSB RED.

Recently had a client come into town to celebrate a birthday, had a wish to pull on some big new smyrna snook. Left the dock at 7:00 and had this big 39โ€ slob in the boat by 7:30. Slick Calm weather and Slob Snooks make for a great birthday.
