- Captain Carmen comes from a long line of Tofino fishermen who have been fishing the local waters for several generations. Having learnt the way of the salt from her father from a very young age, Carmen is now continuing the family legacy. Carmen honed her guiding skills working in the Queen Charlotte Islands (Haida Gwaii) before moving back to her home town in 2008, when she started guiding on the Miss Sea. She loves sharing her passion for the local waters and all their inhabitants with her guests as well as with members of the the local community.
