Captain Phil was great. He made everybody feel comfortable and gave a lot of attention to the three young boys in our group. He made them feel like they were professional fishermen. As soon has Capt. Phil realized the fish stopped biting, he was quick to move to a new spot and change bait. Every spot we stopped at, somebody caught a fish. It was clear that it is captain phil’s mission to make sure we were constantly catching fish. We definitely went home with more fish than expected. We nearly caught 30 fish in all and definitely enough to have our huge fish fry party next weekend. We are definitely returning back to Capt. Phil. Thank you!

Capt.Phil contacted me as soon as I had booked and ensured to answer all my questions and arrangements were made. Showed us the ropes and how to use the reels and then put us on the fish. Within 10 mins we had a landed a tuna. The last minute a damn seal came and snatched it just a few feet from the boat. We were able to catch some Yellowtail and Sea Bass. Overall our crew had a good time. Wished it was longer. Will definitely book with this charter the next time we come back out to San Diego.

The boat was amazing and the Captain was very friendly and helpful and put us on so many fish. The whole family loved it.By far one of the best trips we had.
