  Surprised by this review as it seems inconsistent with the conversation we had on July 12th. During that call you expressed gratitude for my extra efforts made on my part to give you a great trip and made no mention of issues detailed in you review. This was a Coronado Island trip, but we collectively decided to give offshore a shot since fishing at the Islands was slow, I did this at no extra charge. Then I took you guys to the Islands anyway and gave you an extra two hours of fishing, again at no extra charge. As far as the riggings and gear go, the Rods and Reels you used where brand new Penn Warfare and Battle II setups, you guys were literally the first people to use them. These set ups are rigged and are more than adequate for Southern California Fishing. You did express some confusion on how to use the gear and how to fish the style of rigs we were using. I felt I gave you adequate instructions throughout the trip on how to fish each set up and rig, but seems like my explanations were not clear enough. Just because this was gear and rigging you have not used before doesn’t mean they were not up to par, maybe more questions should have been asked on how to use them. As far as the rating on the boat, I would suggest doing more diligent research on the boat you chose. No where in my advertisement do I mislead people as to what my boat is. This vessel is well equipped, well maintained, and very seaworthy. I implore you to find another boat in her class that is as sufficient enough to do the job she does. During that same call you also expressed to me that there was an issue with charges to your card by Fishingbooker, I explained to you that this had nothing to do with me, but I would reach out to them for you to have them contact you directly to resolve the issue. I’m assuming Mike is the person you talked with at Fishingbooker. Please note that Fishingbooker and Good Times Sportfishing are two different entities. Other than advertising on their website I have no other affiliation or input on how they conduct business, so I feel I shouldn’t be penalized for your disappointment in your dealings with them. Unfortunately, your review and rating only reflects on my business.
