Seth is a consummate professional, with extreme attention to detail. As an experienced captain and fisherman, he knows how to manage the ship and catch fish, but at the same time he makes guests feel like a member of his team. Seth’s boat is cherry, probably the best in the water here in Kona: all the necessary tech and just the right amount of comfort. A day spent fishing with Seth is an adventure to be coveted and remembered. I highly recommend this one!

We had a fantastic experience on the water today. Seth and Mark welcomed me and my kids and made the day more than enjoyable. While we weren’t able to catch any of the prize fish that we were looking for, but they made sure to make my kids’ day special by taking us bottom fishing prior to returning to the marina. They were able to hook up on some snapper which made their day! Thank you for taking care of my family!

Captain Seth is a very knowledgeable fisherman with vast knowledge of the ocean and the island. We caught a Papio before we left the harbor, amazing!! As we trolled, we were looking for birds and any splashing in the water. Sure enough we seen the ocean erupting with fish. As we trolled throug them, the fight was on!! Tough, tough fighting Otaru!! What a great day! Don’t forget about the Marlin also, would’ve been amazing to land him, but I wouldn’t dare to be so bold as to complain about one lost fish on such an awesome day with such good luck! The one that got away is truly a special part of what makes it all so thrilling!…some of the time the fish wins! I bet your arms are a little sore from those tuna battles. We had the best time with Seth and Mark. They were incredibly knowledgeable, funny and instantly made us feel like a part of the crew. We caught a couple of Ono and hooked a couple of Marlin but couldn’t get them on board, no fault of the crew. They took their time, tried several different things and work their butts off. We would ABSOLUTELY book with them again.
