My family and I went out for a 4 hour trip at 6am with Harry. We were originally scheduled for 10am on a different day, but Harry suggested switching to 6am on a different day for better weather. The waves were calmer, and that was really helpful for my wife and daughter who are prone to getting seasick. Although not overly talkative, Harry patiently answered all the questions (even the dumb ones) we had about fishing and Kauai. He also displayed a good sense of humor. He took us to a couple of different buoys set up by the coast guard where fish like to gather. He also simplified the whole experience for us beginners - all we had to do was reel the fish in. In the end, we caught about 15 skipjack and yellowfin tunas. Harry filleted one of each for us to take back to our Airbnb with us. Overall, we all had a lot of fun, even my daughter who did get a little seasick. Highly recommend it!

My son and I booked a six hour trip with Captain Harry and it was a blast. Not only did we reel in double Mahi Mahis, we ended up bringing in five for the day! We had a few additional hits also, along with loosing a tuna due to operator malfunction. Learned my lesson fast!  Thanks for the great trip!

Boat and Captain Harry were great! My buddy and I, with our wives filled up the boat. On the way out to the 4 mile bouy we got a “Blind Strike” on one of the big trolling lines and landed a good size Short Billed Spearfish!! Capt Harry gaffed it in, cleaned it and gave us 5 lbs of fresh sushi at the dock to eat and grill for dinner the next day.  It was an awesome day, the best deep-sea fishing experience you could hope for!! Thanks Captain Harry!

My 18 year old son and I went fishing with Harry and it was a slow day. Fishing has no guarantees. We covered 30-35 miles in the ocean looking for bird piles that were non-existent. Harry told me a story mid-trip about finding “floatnd debris” such as old fishing nets, etc that were like finding a “needle in a haystack” in the vast ocean. We were essentially on our return course back to the harbor when we spotted the unexpected debris…...a fushing net! Harry changed course slightly to bring our lines closer to the net and….bam! Our first hook,up of the day! Unfortunately, that one shook the hook at the boat, but on our next pass another hook-up and landed a smaller Mahi—Mahi! Several more passes and the fish were on to us. No more strikes. A slow day on the water, but not for lack of effort. Harry was attentive to the horizon and wanting to find fish for us. Some days are just slow. I would definately book with Harry again on a future tril to Kauai. Thank you Harry!

Had fun from the moment we stepped on board. The captain explained the trip and the equipment with solid instructions. Jay the first mate offered lots of knowledge and fun stories. He was a pleasure and worked hard to take good care of us.
