He also keeps your expectations reasonable since the fish don’t always cooperate. Captain Matt was awesome! I took my three kids and my dad on the kids fishing trip, and we had a great time. Matt was incredibly patient with the kids and did an excellent job teaching them how to fish. He made sure everyone was involved and having fun throughout the trip. You can tell he genuinely enjoys working with kids and helping them learn. I highly recommend Captain Matt to any family looking for a fun fishing experience. had a great time with Capt Matt! caught multiple species and learned a lot. he is a great guy who will make sure that slow periods are filled with good conversation. will be back next time im around these parts. trip would be good for anyone from beginners to more advanced anglers. he has everything we needed, i just brought some sunscreen!

Captain Matt showed us many different fishing spots in our time together. He explained the different fish behavior patterns and showed us how and where to fish. He even gave my sons hook tying techniques. I appreciated the thoughtfulness and patience he had. Captain Matt loves to fish and loves teaching others how to have a good time on the water.
