Every aspect of our trip with John was enjoyable. He’s an all-around great guy who knows what he’s doing and who wants to please his customers. He provided near constant action and being able to eat our own fish that he cleaned for us at a nearby restaurant was the perfect ending to this adventure.

This type of small owner-operator charter is the best way to go. If you go with bigger businesses and bigger boats you’ll get less personalized attention and are likely to be disappointed.

Had a great day with Captain JT today. Super nice guy and was a blast to be around. The wife and I had our 2 young kids with us. Captain JT made sure they had a great time and was very patient with the kids. Will definitely be back to fish with him again. Thanks Captain for the awesome day.

My son and I had an amazing time with Captain JT. I have been on a ton of Chartered fishing trips but take it from me when I say there’s not many captain’s out there like captain JT anymore. I can truly say that he worked harder to put us on fish than any other captain I’ve ever had the pleasure of going out with hands down!!! And all at the same time he makes it look easy “which it is not” while keeping an awesome attitude making it super fun and exciting to be out the whole time. We did a 6 hour trip and in that time we caught bait, I had an 1 long fight with a 85 pound tarpon And a couple other opportunities on quiet a few more but we couldn’t get them to take a bait , we caught Spanish mackerel, and red fish which not to mention we were site fishing all three of those species , and somehow JT was still able to find time To run us about five or so miles offshore to catch our limit of red snapper before heading back to the dock.

Captain Trevor took my son and me on a great fishing trip.  Trevor was very good with my 9 year old and was very engaging, professional and personable!  Trolling in the gulf and the bay, there was never a dull moment.  Followed that up with some live bait fishing in the bay, we had a blast.  I couldn’t believe we caught over a dozen fish in such a short amount of time, not to mention the different species.  There was only one regret, and it’s that we didn’t book a longer trip!  I cannot recommend this charter enough, we definitely look forward to a longer trip the next time we’re in town.

This was our first time deep sea fishing and we had an amazing day! Captain John was awesome and took us to a few different spots to make sure we caught some big fish and we weren’t disappointed! We can’t wait to come back to Destin for another trip with Dawn Patrol Charters!!!
