Capt Willie picked us up at our place and we got right to it.  Started out hooking some snapper. We hit a few spots and then Capt dove for some lobster. He worked diligently and raised 4 nice sized ones. We then went to Blanco Playa where we chilled out. He continued to work hard but thia time like he was on Hells Kitchen. He made an INCREDIBLE meal out of the snapper and lobster. Break your fork good! The ceviche was best we ever had. (We like our ceviche). Was not expecting the care and level of culinary detail.  Once done eating we zig zagged through the san pedro canal and then to a snorkeling spot. Then back to hotel. What a day! Thanks Capt Leslie.

My husband and I had a great time with Captain Willy! Neither of us are particularly experienced in fishing, but Captain Willy gave us some pointers along the way that helped. We started stopping along the way so Willy could catch us some bait with the bait net, then carried on to a few fishing spots. We caught various types of snapper, including one good sized Black Snapper. Capt willy cleaned them for us before heading back, and we have delicious dinners for the rest of the week now! We definitely recommend!

My wife and I are in Belize celebrating our honeymoon, and we had the greatest time out on the water with Captain Wilfred! We caught yellow, red and black snapper of all sizes and had a blast touring about the island on this private boat. The lunch was indescribably amazing, between the fresh food and Willy’s amazing cooking skills we were delighted. We had fun snorkeling and saw multiple sea turtles, sting rays, and even an old shipwreck. All around 100/10, we plan to come back with family!

When you come to Belize this is a must do trip with Captain Wilfred. My family had a blast fishing for snapper and mackerel, which my son caught a nice 5-6 pounder.  Then off to a gorgeous beach where Captain prepared our catch using local spices, veggies and seasonings. This was our best lunch on the entire trip, and the food in Belize is scrumptious. The grand finale was a guided snorkeling trip on the barrier reef. We saw lobster, barracuda, angelfish, stingrays and many many more! Just amazing…!

My wife and I booked the full day fishing and snorkel trip online. Captain Wilfred (Willie as he likes to be called) picked us up at our resort dock at 8 AM and off we went. He travelled about a half hour out to where we began fishing at one of his favorite spots. He began throwing out chum, then cut up lots of sardines for bait. We immediately started catching red and black snapper. We tried several spots and caught fish in each spot. Born and raised here in San Pedro, Willie will tell you many stories about his life, the Island and all about Ambergris Caye.
Around noon Willy said “Time to cook” and we headed to a beach for shore lunch. Willy cooked this amazing lunch of snapper that we caught in his special sauce which was delicious along with cole slaw and Spanish rice. I’m telling you it was to die for!
We then went back out, caught more snapper and he took us out to snorkel but we were so tired of reeling in fish we decided to call it a day and he returned us to our resort.
Believe me, this captain will put you on all the fish you can handle and I highly recommend him.
