Don’t hesitate to book Captain Mike and deck hand Frankie on the Sure Shot.  We chartered a morning 4 hour trolling trip with 3 adults and 3 kids, ages 12, 9, and 7.  The Sure Shot was very clean and a comfortable size for our group.  Mike and Frankie got us fishing 10 minutes after we left the dock on time at 7am.  We spent the morning trolling and catching Spanish Mackerel.  Frankie did all the work setting the lines and lures.  We just had a great time with the kids reeling in the fish.  To top if off Frankie made us ceviche from the catch right on the boat as we motored back to the dock.  Captain Mike was great to work with and made sure we had a great experience.  Overall it was a memorable family time, and we will be back next year on the Sure Shot.

My son, brother in-law, and myself booked a four hour troll with Captain Mike and Frankie.  They are both very professional and they worked very hard to maximize our chances of catching fish.  They had the lines in the water at the earliest possible time and left them in until the last possible minute.  Frankie worked hard to make sure the hooks always had fresh bait on.  In addition Captain Mike and Frankie were a lot of fun being around.  They shared a lot of funny stories and interesting points about fishing and living in the area.  They were both born and raised on the gulf coast.

We caught seven fish.  Six were big enough to keep.  Four King Mackerels and two Bonita’s.  I thought we did pretty good.  There was a boat nearby that wasn’t catching anything.  When we got back to the dock.  Frankie had the fish cleaned right away.  In addition Captain Mike cleaned the Bonita and took out the loin.  He cut up the loin right there on the dock.  We dip it in soy sauce, wasabi, and mustard and ate it right there. It was delicious. Captain Mike then directed us to FloraBama Yacht Club where they cooked some of the mackerel up for lunch we grilled the rest for dinner.  It was all very delicious. 

I am looking forward to booking another trip with Captain Mike and “Sure Shot”.

Bad diesel exhaust leak filled up air in the boat made me sick and headache

Capt. Rob and deck hand Brad were great! Rods and fishing gear need to be updated ASAP lost a few big ones from equipment malfunctions. If equipment is upgraded would be 5/5 stars.

Great trip with my family,  had my 78 year old pop with us and they took good care of him. We all caught fish. Thanks captain
