First, I will say the captain and crew were outstanding! 100% effort on the day and took care of everything in a professional manner.
The reason I do not recommend this boat is the lack of communication from the company. Given different locations to meet at 7am and I repeatedly told them I was driving in from Tamarindo. Road closure In route made it difficult to get there.
The Boat is old and in need of repair. Starboard engine smoked to the point you had a heavy diesel smell on all downwind runs. Port engine ran rough and would not idle down to troll.
Last, we started 30 minutes late. The boat contact was late at the beach pick up point and we came in 30 minutes early.
Final point, the crew worked with what they had and made the day tolerable. I have fished all over the world and I can not recommend this boat.

Good time Manuel worked hard at making me enjoy myself waited on my hand and foot. Erica was a lot of help too very nice very sweet everybody was very friendly

First, coordinating our trip with Erika was smooth, she was always quick to respond and had an answer for every question. She was able to pick us up at our hotel and personally drive us nearly an hour to and from playa del flamingo. The boat was loaded and ready for us full of cold drinks food and fresh fruit. Put frankly, these guys worked their tails off for us. Unfortunately we drew a VERY windy day, and I was concerned that it would effect the fishing but Erik and the Captain kept trying everything they could until we were able to catch the Mahi and were able to hook up on a monster marlin but unfortunately he spit the hook during the fight… Also because of the wind my wife and I did get ill from the horrendous waves but the crew was right there to see that we were comfortable, bringing us water and cold towels every time we were in need.

Despite the extremely heavy chip, it really was a fantastic trip and flamingo sport fishing was undoubtedly the biggest contributing factor in that. I can’t wait to come back and try to catch that sailfish, or maybe even a marlin that eluded me

My family and I had a great time!  Kids caught some decent fish… one of which was filleted on the boat for some sashimi! The crew was super accommodating - offering snacks and drinks frequently.  A half day trip was a great way to introduce the family to offshore/inshore fishing.
