    Fluke Fishing

    4HR Fluke Fishing – Bay Trip

    We had a great time on our fluke fishing charter! The captain was excellent—friendly, patient, and especially helpful with my three young boys, who were excited to fish. He took the time to help them, kept them engaged, and made the experience fun for everyone. We caught fish, made great memories, and would definitely recommend this charter to families! The fishing was outstanding, with plenty of action throughout the trip. We caught a lot of fish, which kept everyone excited from start to finish and made for an unforgettable day on the water.

    Half Day with the best Captain Ryan

    4HR Fluke Fishing – Bay Trip

    Had an awesome sunny day out on the boat with Ryan learning how to fish. Ryans a great teacher and very knowledgeable about fishing but he is even better about giving you just a great overall experience out on the water. Highly recommend and will most definitely book a few more trips this summer and more to come.

    What a great day. my kids had a blast. Captain is awsome Ryan was amazing to my kids. May I add that my son has autism and the Captain accomoded for him and other little one. Thank you for great memories today. Definitely will be back.

    We caught a variety of fish. Couldn't keep any though due to size guidelines. Ryan was personable and knowledgeable. Great person to be on a trip with. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in deep sea fishing

Mixed Bag Meat Trip

What started out as an uncertain weather scenario turned out to be an exciting action filled morning. The crew of 4 ended up with a “I lost count” situation with blue fish, weakfish, fluke, bonito, and sea robins. We ended up keeping 8 bluefish, 2 bonito, and a rather large sea robin in just a few hours and the boys couldn’t have been happier. Great trip all around!

Keeper Fluke on The Reef!

Aug 20, 2026 • Island Park
Decided to check out some intel that a fellow captain shared with me on a down day. First we netted some live bait in the canal to give us the best odds of some bigger fish. Next we headed out to the reefs just a few miles off shore. We poked around the area scanning with the sonar and found a ton of life. After setting up the drift we had 3 nice keeper fluke, 20-22-23’. Had to head back early due to an incoming storm but what a great day, sometimes things just line up nicely. Made fried fish tacos and ceviche. This could be you!

4HR Bay Trip: Keeper Fluke & Shorts

The peak of summer is here and now is the time to get out on the water. Today’s crew chose the 4HR Fluke Trip in the bay, landed 1 Keeper Fluke just under 20” and reeled up approximately 17 Shorts. Also had a few dog fish and sea robins in the mix. All and all a great day bending rods and putting a little meat in the cooler. Hope to see you all out there!

The Fluke Bite Is On!!!!

May 21, 2026 • Island Park
Had a great crew today. Our 6 hour bay trip started at 9am and we had the high tide at noon so we got the best of both tides. Very first drop, first bite, and first fish was a 21” Fluke. After that we had roughly 15 Shorts ranging in size from 10”to 17” giving the guys lots of action. Tide died out from noon to about 1-130pm. Once it started picking up again the bite turned back on and low and behold the Blues finally arrived to our area with perfect eating larger cocktail size chomping our spearing. Now that things are heating up its only going to get better so you all need to get out there!

Spring 2026 Jamaica Bay Bass Run

Hey Everyone, Spring is here and that means the Striped Bass are starting to hit the deck. This mornings trip was all about making the report, not chasing it. Took the solo ride to Jamaica Bay from the home base of Island Park and after a few min of bird watching it was game on. There was plenty of hits and ultimately landed 3 fish in about an hour and a half on the “Ole Flutter Spoon”, first one was under at 27”, then an over at 32” and lastly a slot fish at 30”. Put the slot in the cooler and made it back to Island Park area with a nice tail wind in a record 50min. Fishing is all about the grind but every once in a while things line up real nice and it makes it all worth it.

FALL RUN IS OFFICIALLY HERE!!!

Today was a day for the books, headed out early and after a little, very vital intel, we were hooked deep into a bunch of quality fish. Collectively we brought in 8-10 Stripped Bass in about 3 hours. All of which were “overs”, shortest was 34 inches and a few were well over 40 inches. All were released for another day, and another angler. After the arms were sore we decided to come in and do some TOGin, also did decent with around 6-8 shorts on the green crabs, very tricky but lots of fun. What a great day!
