There's a fish with your name on it in Island Park and Cast Net Charters will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Ryan, which means you'll tap into years of local experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Flounder (Fluke), Black Seabass, Striped Bass, Bluefish, and anything else that bites. For these species, you're likely to drift and bottom fish using light tackle. For Striped Bass Season, typically during the fall run, top water plastics and live lining Bunker will be the plan of action and would be included on those trips.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to let the Captain know the ages and weights of any small children coming aboard so the Captain can make sure the proper life jackets are available for use. Don't forget to bring snacks to keep their stamina going!
You'll be fishing aboard a 25' Pursuit 2550 center console with a recommended capacity for up to 4 anglers comfortably (Licensed for 6 Passengers Max). It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There is a port-a-potty onboard for emergencies however it is recommended to take care of any business prior to boarding. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures but feel free to bring your own equipment if that's your preference. Live bait and gulp style plastics will also be made available and are included in the price.
The boat covers the fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses, or rain gear if the weather calls for it. Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is BYO and allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor, glass bottles are prohibited.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Cast Net Charters

Had an awesome sunny day out on the boat with Ryan learning how to fish. Ryans a great teacher and very knowledgeable about fishing but he is even better about giving you just a great overall experience out on the water. Highly recommend and will most definitely book a few more trips this summer and more to come.
Hey Chris, thanks again for coming out, hope to see you again soon!
Wow!!! Had a fantastic outing with capt Ryan. Went with my wife and two sons age 16 and 18. Capt was very accommodating and amazingly knowledgeable about the water and knew exactly where to go to catch some fish and in our case a large ray that my son caught and still talk about and brag about to their friends. 6 hours flew by. I usually go to NJ crew but this year as my son was going to college in NYC wanted to try somewhere closer to NYC. Im sorry I did not come here sooner. Great caring captain and wonderful fishing trip. Thank you again Capt Ryan. Will see u soon on a another trip
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review, I had a great time with you guys and hope to see y’all again soon.
hard to find local charters in Long Beach , NY, and Capt Ryan of Cast Net charters just a few minutes away fit the bill for a 6hr inshore mixed bag. We started on the fluke and sea bass grounds and rods were bent instantly . When the tide slacked and the bite cooled off Capt. Ryan took us inshore to find some bunker pods and do some live bait / light tackle casting for gator blues. The action was epic to end the day as sharks and bluefish were putting on a show blowing up the bunker. If you enjoy light tackle casting and jigging , or if you fly fish this boat with its raised bow deck is ideal. 5 start day for effort , fishability and courtesy . "
What a great day we all had, hope to see you both again soon! Thanks again for choosing Cast Net Charters!

What a great day. my kids had a blast. Captain is awsome Ryan was amazing to my kids. May I add that my son has autism and the Captain accomoded for him and other little one. Thank you for great memories today. Definitely will be back.
Hey! Thanks so much for coming out, it was a pleasure fishing with you, hope to see you all again soon!

Captain Ryan got us on a ton of fish today. We caught a ton of fluke ranging from 18 inches and up. I also caught my personal best at 23.5 inches! Ryan's knowledge of the waters became clear when I hooked up on my very first drop. He took us to several areas, all of which were holding fish! To finish off an already excellent day, we live lined a bunker on the way in and hooked up with a shark! Safe to say it's a day we'll never forget. Can't wait to get out there with him again!
The grind paid off bud! Looking forward to the next trip!
