I can’t say enough good things about our day on the water with Captain Evan! My three sons and I had the most incredible time — it was hands-down the highlight of our trip. From the moment we stepped on the boat, Captain Evan made us feel welcome, safe, and ready for an unforgettable adventure.

He went above and beyond in every way. He took amazing photos throughout the trip, made the experience fun and engaging for all of us, and was especially kind and thoughtful with my youngest son, who has Down syndrome. The level of care and patience he showed meant the world to us — it’s something I’ll never forget.

And the fishing? Incredible. We caught more fish than I could keep track of — nonstop action! Captain Evan clearly knows the best spots and made sure everyone had a chance to reel in something exciting.

When we returned to the dock, he and his crew cleaned and bagged all of our fish, and even gave us recipe recommendations to cook them that night. You don’t get service like that just anywhere.

This was more than just a fishing trip — it was a core memory for my family. If you’re looking for a captain who’s friendly, professional, and truly passionate about what he does, Captain Evan is your guy. We’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll be bringing friends next time!

Epic trip! First spot was a frenzy with red snapper, red grouper, and scamps! Once we limited out on redsnapper and caught our fair share of red grouper, scamps, and gag grouper we headed out deep to do some deep dropping for exotic grouper and snapper. By far the most fun fishing I have ever done. We got a box full of fish out deep including queen snapper, yellow edge grouper, tile fish, snowy grouper and other exotic fish I don’t even know the name of! Captain and mate cleaned all the fish, all I had to do was bring a cooler and I walked away with a mountain of perfect fillets! Over all great experience with captain Evan, easy guy to talk too and he runs a great business! Will definitely be back for a trip in the fall!

Captain Evan Rexroat is easily one of the best charter captains in Florida. He put me on non-stop grouper and snapper all day long! My arms were so sore after. His boat is easily the most comfortable boat ride I’ve ever experienced!
