With 2-4 foot seas, we decided to troll. No luck on the Kings, we did get 2 false albacore. We decided to head back in the bay and set anchor, the sea grass made it challenging, but that's fishing. Looking forward to fishing with you in snapper season, hope the weather is better.

We started out trolling, but quickly decided to try bottom fishing. We cought several snapper and a gag grouper (out of season) and several short triggers and 2 cobia a 37in and 41in what an awesome birthday present

We started trolling catching 3 Little Tunny, and a keeper Amberjack 34 3/4 in. After putting a good fish in the box we tried some bottom fishing, catching some nice Red Snapper (not in season) and short Triggerfish and lost a couple good fish, they did get a Vermilion to take home.

We started out trolling for Kings and found some, also seeing a Cobia but didn't have time to cast to it. The water temp. is at 70, finely. We got 3 Kings 34-38 inches. And lost a couple right at the boat. Then my kids wanted to do some bottom fishing, we cought a limit of Triggers and caught several smaller ones and several nice Snapper and a Gag Grouper but not in season yet. A great day spent with family!

The water is still a little cool, so we decided to troll to cover some water. We caught several false albacore and a black fin tuna, we lost several fish do to rough sea.

Fishing in January can be diffacult, dealing with drastic temp. changes and wind you have to pick the days. We got lucky what a beautiful day, we decided to troll for some tuna, no black fin this time but we did catch 4 false albacore, looking forward to a snapper trip in june.
