Our trip was fun, but communication and a “plan B” should have been better. The communication on what to bring didn’t clearly say to bring our fishing tags, so we didn’t. But, of course, it didn’t matter, because we didn’t catch any Red Drum anyway. Which is the second complaint we had. There was no “plan B”. After sitting for an hour with zero bites, we moved to another location, waited 40 minutes and then it was over. The first hour was fun, catching our bait, that we barely used. I’m not sure there is much that can be done in this situation, but I would think it would be possible to go after another Fish or something.

The captain was extremely knowing and awesome, my only complaint is we were fishing for mostly baitfish then using those to catch passing baby shark. I would’ve rather caught nothing and tried for some drum, but apparently it was “rough” in the morning so we didn’t try. Otherwise CJ was excellent and I think being more vocal about my & my parties desire to go for larger fish would’ve helped.

Great time, unfortunate nothing amazing was caught, would do again!

Fantastic day with Captain Jonathon. Caught some keepers and sharks. We were reeling in fish and laughing all day.
Great experience and great Captain.

Me and my brother in law brought our sons on their first ocean fishing trip, and we all had a great time.

We had CJ as our captain, he was amazing, made it really fun for my wife and I. We will be back, solely bc of CJ.
