Great trip, great Capt and Mate.  Caught plenty of mackerel and blues.  Good time had by all, planning longer trip soon!

We had an awesome day. The Captain and his first mate are top shelf. We are going to be booking with them again around January.

Had a great time with Reelax Fishing Charters. It wasn’t the best time of year for the trip, but the crew gave it their all to find us fish. We had a blast catching shark, sea bass and numerous other species.

Upon arrival the boat was prepared for sports fishing. I spoke with Capt. Sam the day before to confirm our bottom fishing trip.
Capt. Sam convinced us that the bill fishing was great and that if the bill fish were not there that we would be in a great place to bottom fish.
The boat was slow. Took 2.5 hours to travel 28 miles if flat seas. Lines were set, after about 6 hours only a few lines went off only one fish staying on to fight. It was a nice Wahoo.
At the end of the sports fishing. 2 lines went off. A small sail fish was hooked and seen. The other line continued to peel off.
One line went limp, fish got off, and we continued to fight the other line. The Crew was convinced that it was the sail fish still on. When the fish was landed it was a barracuda.
So now we were going to bottom fish. The Captain could not put us on any place that was productive.
Spent most of our time riding.
The Captain knew his vessel and provided a safe trip. However I would not want to take mixed family out as 1 Crew member started drinking around lunch.
No working bathroom. Cramped accommodations for 7 adults with 3 of these being crew.
