Thanks for fishing with us, it was a joy having you and your family. All I can say is wow about this review! Not at one time did you ever discuss any displeasures. At the end of the trip you and your family were smiling and thanking us for taking you fishing saying we had a great time time. You also personally messaged me saying “thanks again!” So at what point did you decide you had a “wasn’t bad, but experience could’ve been better.” You booked a 5 hr trolling/bottom fishing trip. We trolled out, bottom fished and then trolled back in as specified. When you messaged us about expectations I personally replied with what to expect and you still chose to charter us. This is the trip you chose. If you would’ve read the description of the trip before booking maybe you would’ve chosen a different trip even though still having prior communication. This is the trip you chose and this is exactly what we did. We were fishing the entire time. As for the deckhand I totally disagree with your review of him. He gives a thorough explanation on how to use the equipment and helps everyone. If one of your kids ask him to help them catch a fish he does just that and did. The backlash of the reels do happen but when everyone does this, it takes time to repair and get back to other duties such as baiting hooks and taking fish off the hook. This may be why you think he was low energy. I guess y’all caught plenty of fish, at least there isn’t any complaints about that. Enjoy that big Cobia and other fish that were caught.
