Class Act Charters
Make the most of your time in Orange Beach and go fishing with Class Act Charters. With Captain Dale Woodruff at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
The fish in these waters include Amberjack, Vermilion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Scamp Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Almaco Jack, Bonito, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Red Grouper, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, and more if you come at the right time of year. During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Dale can also help you try kite fishing.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks!
Capt. Dale will bring you aboard the Class Act, a 52' Miller sportfishing vessel with space for 15 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials. Air conditioned cabin, clean restroom, satellite radio, satellite tv for the Golf/Ball game, Green Egg grill for grilling. The charter provides everything for the grill, just bring the food. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself. Fish cleaning is free for the 4, 5 and 6-hour trips.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 18–20% tip is customary.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We had a party of 9. The captain and deck hand were absolutely amazing! Listen to the exactly what we wanted. Although we didn’t catch a big whopper. We had a blast and filled the cooler, along with made lots of memories. A/c was amazing. Wouldn’t have made the trip without it due to heat advisory day. I would definitely take this exact charter again and again. Great day with great captain and deck hand. Couldn’t have asked for more hospitality and felt right at home. Thanks from the OBrien family❤️

what an awesome group y’all are! we really enjoyed having you!! God Bless!
We had a great time, had our limit of snappers by the end of the 3rd stop. Kendall and Dillon were top notch and Captain Dale was great! We had a group of 10 and it was a seemless experience, even with rough seas in the AM. Its a great boat with plenty of room to relax if you want to stay in the cabin while heading out and plenty of room to comfortably fish, even with 10 people. I would highly reccomend Class Act and crew to anybody looking to take a trip with their Family. We had 2 little boys with us, ages 6 and 4 and the crew was fantastic with them. Take a trip with the Class Act, you wont regret it.

Thanks for such an awesome review! Y’all were a joy to be with in a very lovely group. We look forward to having you back. God Bless!!
Everyone in the party had a great time and caught fish, Capt. Dale dropped us right on the fish and we limited out Red Snapper in two spots. Spent the rest of the trip trolling and reeling in fish after fish. Kendall was on top of everything on the deck. Keeping all the lines baited and hooks in the water. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Kendall and Capt. Dale. Will be going back with this charter boat again!

It was a Blessing having y’all as a Charter. Y’all are such an awesome group. Love to see you again one day!
We had a party of 8 go out. great trip overall and everyone was able to catch plenty of fish. We caught red snapper, kings, bonita, and our captain and deck hand done a wonderful job taking care of us. great experience and would highly recommend them.

Y’all are such an awesome group! Thanks again for fishing with us! God Bless!

We fished with Capt. Dale and his team on June 2nd. We have a group of 10 people, 7 of who had never fished before. The deck hands did a great job working with everyone and explaining how to fish. The Captain kept us on fish all day and we had a limit of beautiful Alabama Red Snapper. I would absolutely recommend this charter and will fish this boat again!

Thanks for the great review! y’all got such a nice family. God Bless!
