Started off with barely being able to get out of the channel because he couldn’t find the channel markers due to the light on the front of the boat not being bright enough. He took us to “some spots” he knew of. I’m no fishing expert, but when you stay in the relative same spots, those aren’t different spots in salt water fishing. I spent majority of the time putting bait on the hook than I did actually fishing, at least that’s how it felt. After the trip was over, he offered to “cut us a deal” for the next day cause we didn’t catch anything that trip. Seemed like he took us to the “spots” he knew about so we didn’t catch anything.  And then if we had taken his “deal” for the following day, I bet the fish would have magically appeared. A very dissapointing experience overall and felt like we were being scammed.

While the Captain was very nice, he did not provide a good fishing experience.  We stayed in less than 5 feet of water all day.  We fished with shrimp and caught about 3 fish per person in a 6 hour span.  When it was obvious we were not getting any bites, he did not try to change locations or work to improve the quality of the trip.

Didn’t catch anything worth talking about.  Pretty much stayed in same location. Guide was nice but didn’t find any fish.

Worst experience ever
No live bait or lures as advertised
Not even enough dead bait to fish an hour for hardheads and bait so we could catch something else
Used a Buddy from Austin that wasn’t a guide to take half of us and still charged us $900
Told us not to tell Game warden we were just a group of friends out fishing so he didn’t get in trouble
Such a scam artist
Should have his supposed guide license taken away
