The captain claimed he never filleted a trout in 20 years. We were left with whole fish when we just asked for fillets. He said he didn’t have a cutting board to lay them on!! He called a local restaurant he knew to cook the whole trout and the wanted $40 PER FISH just to cook them!! Also the boat says up to four people can fish but he only has TWO RODS! Also the fish box is left in the sun without even ice covering the exposed fish!

It is rare to reply to a review. In my 20 years of operation this is the first time someone has requested fillets. Catch is cleaned and bagged so the client can process how they want. Catch is in a fish bin with water to keep cool. No ice required. Boat has 13 rods set up for different methods on the day. 2 people/ licences mean we use 2 rods. That’s the rule. Restaurant charges not in my control but a nice trout will feed 2 to 3 people easy.
