Let me start by saying my finger hit the wrong date on the calendar. When I arrived no one was there so a nice gentleman called the captain for me. After realizing it must have been my mistake the Captain didn’t hesitate to get the trip together. He and the crew were able to be at the dock within 40 minutes. The Captain was clear that regardless of the mistake we would get the entire 6 hour trip. The crew was attentive and highly experienced. We were on the fish within 1 hour. We caught a total of 17 fish between 6 of us. We Caught Bonita, Jack Cravelle, Mackerel, and Dorado (Mahi Mahi),  I highly digest using this company!!!!

We booked an 8 hour trip with hopes of catching a big sailfish or a marlin.  Unfortunately we struck out but…..
Communication was prompt and easy.  We booked on line and met Martin, who was coordinating our trip, at the Paradise Village public pier.  He even sent us a map.  Martin introduced us to our captain and first-mate.  Both named Philipe.  We found out a little while later they are father and son.  Once on board our panga boat, they made us feel welcomed and we headed out to sea.  A short time later as we approached Marietas Islands, we stopped to watch a family of humpback whales.  Then the lines went in. We trolled for a while caught a couple of smaller tuna then swapped to live bait and picked up a couple more tuna.  In search of our sailfish we began dragging the lines again. Philipe crafted a delicious ceviche from one of the tuna then sat us down for a nice lunch and a cold beer.  The day concluded with full bellies, 6 lines dragging in the water trying everything we could to catch a big one.  But no luck.  We had a great day on the water nonetheless.  We caught 4 tuna, saw some whales, ate delicious fresh made ceviche and made some new family memories.  Thank you!  We’ll have to try again soon!

I have nothing negative to say about this fishing trip. My 2 son’s and I did the 6 hour excursion, and we had a fantastic time. Both crew were very friendly and obviously experienced fishermen. We caught a sailfish even though there not really in season in this area in December. We hooked another one but unfortunately it got away. David made us a large bowl of delicious ceviche with our catch. As a bonus, we also saw several whales throughout the trip. We will definitely be booking this again next time we are in PV.

I booked a four hour morning trip with my wife and kids. None of us are experienced fishers, but the guys got us into several schools of bonito and we all got to bring a couple in. The captain made fresh ceviche out of a couple of them, which was delicious, and we took the others to cook later. Would definitely use these guys again.

These guys were great! We had 3 adults and 3 kids. We left promptly at 7am for our 8hr trip. 2 of us had done some offshore fishing before and knew the deal, but for the others, I was a new experience. They took the time to explain the trawling process and what to look for, and what to do once we get a fish on.

We got lucky and immediately brought in 5 yellowtail in the first hour, even our 12 year old reeling one in by himself.

We moved spots and started searching for smaller fish so our 8 year old could catch something a little easier than yellowtail lol

We ended up catching a Spanish mackerel and a bunch of small bonito (we threw the bonito back bc we already had 100lbs+ of yellowtail). The Spanish mackerel they cut up and made some awesome civiche.

The youngest kids even reeled in the biggest yellowtail of the day in the early afternoon with just a little help from the adults.

All in all, just a great day of fishing. Kids had a blast and now love fishing. Total for the day 6 yellowtail (20-30lbs each), 1 Spanish mackerel, and 10+ bonito. Pretty good haul, especially considering a lot of other boats got skunked.

Strongly recommend these guys. Easy going charter that knows what they are doing and know where the fish are. And kid friendly. We’ll book with these again when we’re back in Punta del Burro
