Cap. Brother's Boat specializes in the bay fishing of the beautiful Bahia de Banderas, as well as offshore trolling off the coast of Nuevo Vallarta. Captain David Aguilar will take you on the adventure of a lifetime and put you on the big game fish, regardless of your level of experience. He's been fishing these waters his entire life and knows all the best spot along the coast to give you an unforgettable experience.
Your journey will take place on 29' Nava center console, equipped with state-of-the line electronics and fishing amenities. Her features include a flybridge, fighting chair, outriggers, a wireless trolling motor, and a private toilet. He accommodates up to 6 guests and kids of all the eges are welcome to join in on the action.
On the 4hrs and 6 hrs trips, you will be fishing on the Bay of Flags (Bahia de Banderas) to target a plethora of species, including Roosterfish, Jack Crevalle, Cubera Snapper, Bonito and more. On the 8 and up-hour trips, you will have the opportunity to go further offshore and troll for pelagics such as Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Swordfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna and the list keeps going.
Captain David also offers snorkeling and fishing combo trips where you can do a bit of both. These trips are perfect for families with kids as they'll have a chance to learn about the different species that congregate along the bottom of the ocean. Some exotic fish are present underneath these waters and make a perfect family photo.
State of the art Shimano gear is provided on all trips and your fishing license is already included in the price. The crew will offer to clean and filet the fish and ingredients for ceviche are available along with your catch. Water and ice are provided on all the trips. Tips are not included (10% to 20%), which the crew will appreciate

The crew was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable the entire trip. We caught a number of fish and had so much fun out on the water. One of the highlights was the freshly prepared ceviche made with our catch. It was absolutely delicious and such a special touch to the experience. Even with a mix of Spanish and English, conversation flowed easily, and the crew made every effort to include everyone and keep the atmosphere fun and relaxed. Most importantly, our 7-year-old had an absolute blast! The crew was wonderful with kids and helped make this an unforgettable family adventure. We would happily book again and highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, authentic, and memorable fishing experience. 🎣☀️🌊

6 Hour Trip on July 13, 2026 • 3 adultsReally friendly crew and captain. caught lots of fish. Philip made decent cerviche onboard from some of our catch. laughter. some strong fighting fish. did 6 hours which was enough for us. went out to punta mita and then circled back through the bay of Vallarta. Saw many turtles while waiting for the fish to bite.

Great memories, though, and we appreciated fhe dolphins ans turles we saw!! And, who knew shark ceviche could be so yummy?!

6 Hour Trip on February 1, 2026 • 4 adultsGreat day of fishing! The crew is hard working and got us on to fish almost immediately. Ended up catching 3 Skipjacks and 9 Bonitos but unfortunately lost a Mahi Mahi that was on. The crew cut up one of the skipjacks and prepared a delicious little meal for us. They cleaned and filleted all the fish. We also saw quite a few whales during the day. A great time had by all of us.

8 Hour Trip on April 4, 2026 • 2 adults • 1 childOverall great experience out of Nuevo Vallarta. I would recommend the 8 hour trip if you want more than Bonito. We went out to the islands and caught large Jack Crevelle and finished the day inshore for Rooster Fish. The captain and crew are very knowledgeable and work hard to get you on fish. They were very accommodating on how I wanted to fish and the ceviche and sashimi was top notch. Thanks David and Felipe.

I brought my twin 9 year olds and they caught a ton of fish; bonitas, mackerals, skipjacks and a larger jack crevalle at the cery end. The crew was patient and did all the heavy lifting. They made ceviche and filleted the fish for us. Highly recommened.

We had a great time on the Cpt. Brother's Boat II! We took the morning 4hour session and caught a few Bonito and had a yellow fin tuna on the line! The crew and boat were great. Crew was super responsive, answered all our questions very quickly. They made us fresh ceviche on the boat which was delicious, and we saw a ton of humpback whales which was great! Would def recommend to others and go again if we have the opportunity!
