Brandywine had great reviews, however our experience was not. Captain Glenn did everything he could to catch us fish, and we got some, but there was very little interaction with us. We were not told the expectations for being on the boat, where any of the safety items were, the plan of where we were going, what he was doing to catch the fish, what we were to be doing to watch for the fish and what to do when the fish were on. The experience was more of a “Stay seated and reel it in when I hand you the pole.”  The boat appeared to be clean but had a major fly issue that caused all of us to be bitten up and focus more on them than the fishing, with no response from Captain Glenn. If this is a common issue on Lake Michigan, it should have been indicated what to appropriately wear in the trips description. We have been on other charter trips in the past were we have caught less fish but had a better time, as it is more about the experience and time on the water than the fishing for us.
