Great experience! We spent 8 hours out fishing. Captain T.J. knew where to take us.  Caught all of the fish that were in season.  The seas were rough but they put us exactly over the fish.  Overall everything we hoped for!  Prayer to start the day was perfect start to the morning.

Captain TJ and first mate Tyler did an excellent job of putting us on fish and helping with our grandson Nicholas (6 years old). It was the first time that any of us ever went deep fishing on a charter. TJ got us on fish almost right away and Tyler kept our hooks baited and fish off about as fast as anyone could. They made it an excellent trip for all of us. We had 5 adults and one child. I would definitely have High Cotton Charter do the next fishing trip again if we get back to Destin. Having done charters before, this was an exceptional experience from a fishing perspective and a customer service perspective.  Capt TJ was accommodating, courteous, considerate, and committed to getting fish and having fun - with a cast of elderly men and women and a 6-yr-old.  As soon as Capt TJ said to put the lines in the water, Tyler made sure everyone had bait and the lines were ready to go.  When the line hit the bottom, there were 1-3 fish on the line and these were fun pulling in.  Many of the fish were out of season, so Tyler was busy keeping the hooks cleared and rebaited.  Capt TJ ensured everyone was spaced safely on the boat and hooks were in the water as much as possible. Capt TJ coached the novices to ensure a catch when the line was let out properly.  Tyler did the training for the different poles, reels, bait, and positions.  Tyler set out additional lines for larger fish and ensured that each person had a fun experience landing a big one.  We kept busy pulling in fish - then moved to another spot when the biting slowed down. We had well over 4 hours of fun.  Tyler efficiently cleaned the boat on the way in. When we got to the dock, the fish were on display so we got a lot of happy faces in photos.  If I go again - we’ll request Capt TJ and High Cotton Charters because we know we will be given the best value, the most fun, and the most fish possible.  Tyler cleaned the fish and we had a great dinner of fresh fish and left overs for several days.  Thank you Capt TJ and Tyler.  A great team working for the customers.  Bob and Julie R.

We fished with Capt. TJ 8/16/2019.  He was an overall great guy and you can tell he loved what he does.  After taking in an amazing sunrise, we stopped to catch some bait fish.  Sounds lame, but that was a lot of fun and the start of a great trip.  TJ’s mate, Tyler, showed us everything we needed to know and helped us along.  We then trolled for a couple hours.  Trolling resulted in a number of nice King and Spanish Mackerel. We trolled out to some bottom fishing spots.  When we stopped to bottom fish, we caught many different species, including Red Snapper, beeliners, 2 kinds of porgy, Triggerfish, rainbow runners, the list goes on.  We then trolled back home for a bit.  That resulted in a number of bonito.  We had a diverse group, many have never saltwater fished before.  TJ and his mate Tyler were great teachers and a lot of fun to speak with.  I highly recommend this boat - look no further.

Our fishing party included 3 adults and 2 kids, age 7 and 9.  We were initially scheduled to go out on a Thursday and tried it, but had to come in as the waters were too rough.  We tried again the next day, and the weather was perfect.  We caught several types of fish and a shark.  Captain TJ and Frank filleted the fish for us, and we took the fish to a local restaurant for them to cook it for us.  It was a great time.  The adults and kids had fun.  Captain TJ and Frank were very informative and accomodating. We will definitely be looking forward to using Captain TJ again next year.

Captain TJ and Cooper were excellent fishing guides. All five of us limited out on red snapper in under 20 minutes. He then took us to another honey hole then caught an enormous amberjack ( unfortunately didn’t get to keep because it’s out of season), two sharks, a wahoo, Cobia and a king. Also, multiple blue runners. Cooper was an awesome first mate. He worked his butt off the entire time and was always professional. To say our group was a group of amateur fisherman and Fisher women, would be an overstatement. None of us had fished in the ocean. They both coached us never getting frustrated. in total, we caught approximately 30 fish and more importantly made some great memories.
