From start to finish, this fishing trip was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to book, communicate with, and locate. It was my 11-year-old son’s first time fishing. I brought along my elderly parents. Boarding the boat for my parents was a bit of a challenge, but Captain Rob took immediate steps to make accommodations where they felt comfortable boarding at the nearby pier. Capt. Rob has the patience of a saint and taught my son everything he needed to know to start fishing.  My son caught over 10ish fish and 1 crab. By the end of the trip, my son was casting and reeling on his own (and I was too)! I didn’t have any worries on this trip; it was perfect. Captain Rob knows EVERYTHING about fish/water/boating/Naples! He is an excellent tour guide as well as an expert fisherman and boat captain! We all very much enjoyed this trip - it was fantastic! Bonus, at the end we saw dolphins and Captain Rob knew exactly how to get them to jump in our wake; my son was thrilled! My parents wanted me to give him over 5 stars, and I would if I could. We are definitely looking forward to our next visit to Naples and fishing onboard Runnin The Flats with Captain Rob. Hightly recommend!

My son and I hired captain Rob and had a tremendous day of fishing in what were challenging conditions- it was pretty cold (by Florida standards) and very windy. Captain Rob had done a lot of homework on the wind and tides and knew exactly where to go and how to fish the spots for maximum effect. The result was almost limiting out on speckled trout as well as getting into a number of other species like mangrove snapper, etc .

Overall, he has incredible knowledge of the Everglades ecosystem - both the fish and all of the other wildlife we saw including a dolphin, a bald eagle and manatees. Very likeable, articulate and patient. Super laid back. Highly recommended. He even called ahead to the Marina restaurant on our way back in to ask if they would cook our catch (which they did, to perfection).

We had an incredible time with Captain Rob snd requested a shorter 2.5hr tour. We saw a large gator, a few manatees, and the highlight, catching a bullshark!!! Captain Rob was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, our surroundings and most importantly where to catch the fish! I would highly recommend and we will 100% return next trip! Thank you Captain Rob for a fantastic time on the water!!

Captain Rob was great and gave us the perfect fishing adventure!  We caught 8 different species of fish in a short period of time. The boat was great, perfect mix of sun and shade!  Thank you for a great day!
