We caught a striped bass up to nearly 50 inches today! And we used “weirdest way” to catch the biggest fish :)! Also, since we didn’t catch some fish when it closed to the end of the trip, captain Tom took us to many extra fishing spots to fish, and we caught 2 big striped bass and 1 big blue fish. After catching the first bass, we thought the trip was going to end, but captain spent lots of extra time take us back and forth to catch the fish! It’s really nice of the captain and the mate! I actually had one experience to fish with private charter before, but at that time, that captain (from other charters) was very rude and unsettling, always yelling at us. So when I booked the trip with captain, I was very nervous. But the captain is very nice and willing to help us. Captain and the mate made our day! Definitely gonna fish with the captain again. Best captain and crew in NYC!

I booked an afternoon trip with Captain Tom for my husband’s birthday and father’s day, and we brought our two kids, ages 9 and 6. We had a wonderful time, the Captain is kind and knowledgeable, and the mate, Sean was great and sweet with our kids. We caught fluke, sea robin, and dogfish, and had beautiful views of Coney Island. The boat is beautiful, roomy, has shade, and a really nice bathroom. I’d highly recommend!

Rounding out a activity filled girl’s weekend, we booked a 4 hour excursion with Tom and Thomas to head out into Jamaica Bay. We ended up catching four species - dog fish shark, fluke, sea bass, sea robin with a total of 12 fish. We moved around the bay, aquired informative stories of Rockaway Beach and NYC. The guys are polite and fun. Was a great way to end our trip. Thanks again T&T!

Captain Tom is a great host and knows how to find fish. Our group was catching steady diring duration of entire trip.
Crew was very professional, well organized, everything went well, can’t wish any better way to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday with his friends.
We’ll definetely fish with Captain Tom again.

We had a blast with Tom and Rob. 3 kids and parents. Tom and rob were great with the kids. The boat is nice and clean, even the bathroom. Everyone caught something, mostly sea robin and a few fluke. Not a ton of fluke keepers but the kids had a great time reeling in some sharks. Would definitely recommend.
