- I spent 20 years in the United States Army and retired. i grew up in Cody Wy., fishing all around the Yellowstone basin. upon retirement I whent to school at Utah State University where I earned my degree in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. when i am not guiding I work as a PARA Professional assisting special education students. I am currently working on my Masters Degree for my teaching certificate in Biology. I have over 7 years fishing experience here in Alaska.
- Techniques
- went out halibut fishing I prefer to use bait and jigs either on anchor or drift fishing. While out salmon fishing, we will troll baits and other attractants to catch king Salmon, silver salmon. When targeting rockfish and link cod, I prefer to use bait and jigs as well. I have found this to be the most productive way of fishing for these species of fish..
