My dad and I had a great two days of fishing with captain Carlos on la shina. Carlos spoke good English and was all about putting us on the fish we were targeting. If we weren’t hooking up he would move and put us on the fish. Overall, good lunch, beverages and great fishing. If you’re planning a trip to la Paz, la shina is the pongs to choose!

Communicated with Jose via chat and went out with Julio on a Sunday and had a great time. He even made us burritos and had a cooler for the day. Excellent host. Beautiful day.

Great half day fishing for yellowtail — We caught some big fish and had it cleaned/cut for us. We were beginners and it was great learning. Julio made great burritos too!

I went fishing with Captain Carlos, my wife, my father, and my mother. Carlos was a fantastic guide; so much so that my father and I booked a second day fishing with him. He put us on mahi mahi, tuna, bonito, and trigger fish. He also had fantastic music and was a real pleasure. I will be sending all of my friends his way!

Julio got us on some yellowtail. Super fun. Great day. Highly recommend. Even came back to the boat the next day to swim with whale sharks. So fun.
