We have such an amazing time. Neither of us had been deep sea fishing, but it turned out to be more fun that we had even anticipated. We had been fishing many times, but only in fresh water, and never on a charter, and never have we had someone bait our hook, but boy was it fun.  Captain Christopher was awesome. He was funny and patient and made sure we were on the fish. We really enjoyed visiting with him about Puerto Penasco and all it had to offer. Being out on the sea was amazing and the fishing was so fun. We caught rock bass and trigger fish, and he caught the most beautiful red snapper. In addition to the fishing, we enjoyed burritos and cervezas and great company.  One highlight to the trip was during our return to port, when Captain Christopher spotted dolphins a ways away. He drove his boat over and the pod swam, and jumped and performed for us for quite awhile. It was breathtaking to see them so close. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. When we got back to port he cleaned and filleted the fish and bagged them up for us to take home. When we were booking the trip, he was very quick to answer any questions we had. I would 100%  recommend Captain Christopher and Del Mar Charters and when we come back, we will be going with them again.

We booked a 3/4 trip with Del Mar for our first trip to Mexico and we were not disappointed! The weather was great and Captain Cristobal was super helpful! We were able to bring home plenty of fish and ended the day with this grouper and yellowtail! We really appreciated Captain Cristobals respect for the ocean and sport of fishing. We ended up cutting our trip short by a couple hours because we were taking home more than we anticipated. We will be booking with Del Mar again in the future!

We had that we had a blast with Captain Christobal is an understatement. We caught over 40 pounds of fish (5 gallon freezer bags of fillets). The kids loved it and he took care of everything right down to cold drinks and tasty burritos. I would recommend Del-Mar Charters to absolutely everyone, a family friendly trip, fishing with the guys, or fishing for sport you can’t go wrong. And don’t forget to ask for Captain Cristobal!!!! You won’t be disappointed.

Del Mar Charters was so easy to work with, safe parking for our car, easy find, accommodating…Capt. Christopher was friendly, helpful, thorough, courteous and even though I got really sea-sick he managed to give us a good trip. (I guess at 50 years old I get sea-sick now…Dramamine to the rescue from now on). We had zero ocean fishing experience and are now ready to do it again one day.  So glad we brought rain-gear…no rain but the sea-spray would have soaked us without it…We saw Dolphins, seals and birds…off-season during Thanksgiving still yielded good fish like Sea-bass and Trigger-fish (although I don’t care for Trigger fish it is a mild and edible whitefish).  We were happy to grill it up for dinner - Thanks again!
