First of all WE HAD A BLAST OF A DAY !!.
We caught 2 nice Tuna and although we had hoped to catch much more the fishing gods were not with us on our day. (That’s why our sport is called fishing - not catching)
Fish were everywhere (we saw many Tuna - MahiMahi - SailFish jumping) and captain Yeri and mate Juan Carlos went the extra mile for sure and did all possible to chase them down to catch them but they just wouldn’t bite.
All boats around us went back to port empty, we stayed out longer and 2 Tuna were our trophy.
But our trip (me and my 15yr daughter) had a special cause and Yeri and Juan Carlos delivered besides fishing a day full of excitement.
We saw Manta’s jumping - Seaturtles and uncountable amount of spinner dolphins. My daughter even jumped between them and saw them up-close and hundreds of tuna below and around them.
Further more personal input, sharing of local knowledge and insights by Yeri/Juan Carlos made the day special.

GREAT DAY AT SEA

Our captain, Yeri, and crew were awesome!! They worked hard to make sure we found the good spots and catch some fish.  We were able to catch six tunas (good dinner!)!  We also saw hundreds of dolphins, a turtle, a whale and lots of different fish species.  We had a GREAT time with The Cowboy!  Highly recommend them if you are in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area.

Jerry and Juan-Carlo have put all required energy and effort to get us to the fish, and succeeded greatly with catch of 9 yellow thin tunas of great size. Professional and ethical service plus friendly attitude made this day a great experience. For sure we’ll call them back on a future trip in Costa Rica, I recommend these guys anytime.

Wonderful time with the captain and crew! They have the skills and knowledge to put you right on top of the fish. Left out at 7am then on to catch bait. Near 11am we had 7 beautiful yellowfin on the deck. By 12:30 we were hooked up to a beautiful blue marlin. Sailfish we’re all around us but sadly wouldn’t take the hook. These guys will take care of your every need and keep you smiling all day. You will not be disappointed!

Jerry and Carlos were fantastic! We had a great time and caught several fish including sailfish and mahi mahi. Highly recommend the Cowboy! We can’t wait to come back!
