A few days ago my close family and I went on the Fishing Just B Cause fishing charter. This was easily the best fishing charter I have ever been on. To start off, the boat was EXTREMELY nice. With an indoor couch, beds, table, and storage (as well as amazing AC) the inside of the boat was perfect for taking a break, and relaxing on the way to and from the spots. As for the outside of the boat, they had a very big area where we fished from. With PLENTY of rods to use my family and I were kept busy with fishing for the entirety of our trip. There was plenty of areas for the coolers we brought along to sit without getting in the way. The boat had a massive outside area that was more than enough room for my family to fish. Second, the mates were the best I have ever seen. They were talking to us the entire time ensuring we were comfortable, safe, and happy! Also, they were teaching us all about fishing and how we could improve to catch more fish. They were always keeping poles in the water so when two rods get tangled together, you can switch to other rods that were already in the water while they untangle/fix the rods. They were making the most out of the time we had to ensure that we were fishing non stop. Along with me on the trip, I had 4 kids, the mates ensured that they were entertained and engaged the entire time, they were extremely helpful and nice to the kids to be sure they had a great time. The mates also were very talented with knowing how, where, and when to fish. They would tell us exactly when to drop our baits down and tell us when to reel up and wait for a bite. Every drop down, I either got a bite or a fish and it was like that for everyone. They knew exactly what they were doing and they were very talented. They were very talkative to keep the boat energy up and be sure everyone was having a good time. As for the fishing itself, it was amazing, we caught some amazing, big, and beautiful fish. The mates knew exactly what fish we were catching and kept us learning about them and showing us cool parts of the fish. Over all the mates were perfect and couldn’t have been any better.
As for the captain, he is the best one I have ever been on board with. When we got the marina, he gave us a quick rundown of the trip and introduced himself. For the ENTIRE trip, the captain kept us right on top of fish, being sure we didn’t waste a second! Also, on the way there and back we trolled two rods to better our chances of more and bigger fish. The captain also was perfect with his ways of driving the boat. Other charters I have been on, the captain will sometimes put you sideways towards the waves, making an uncomfortable and dangerous position on the water, the captain of Fishing Just B Cause was always sure to keep us pointed to the waves to make a better fishing and comfortable experience. Over all, this was by far the best fishing charter I have EVER been on, and I plan to use them again. Thank you so much to the captain and mates, the mates were extremely knowledgeable on fishing. Took my two young boys (5-7), wife, and mother-in-law. Price was right and Just B Cause put us on the fish. Lots of fun and highly recommend. Deck hand was great with the boys and very knowledgeable. He made the trip very enjoyable while fishing. Captain was very skilled and held us over the spots in some very rough seas (3-5ft) with some bigger rollers.

Our party included our four children, two Grandchildren and friends for our annual vacation.  Captain Eddy welcomed us aboard earlier than our scheduled time and First Mate Spencer got us boarded, briefed and ready for our adventure in record time. 

My goal was to have everyone catch a fish and enjoy the day.  Spencer ensured that happened.  He was awesome.  Spencer paid personal attention to each one, ensuring the rigs were ready, baited and cast to the right spot. Spencer worked with everyone, coaching them on casting, catching and reeling in their fish.  Captain Eddy was keeping an eye out as well.  He provided tips to everyone on how to hold the rig and how quickly to reel their catch in.

We caught over 40+ fish not counting the undersized ones we had to throw back.

We had a grand time and want to give a special thanks to Spencer for remembering our names, his patience with us novice fisher folks, and especially for taking great care of our two special fishermen Tom and Drew.  BTW Drew was the overall winner of the day, he caught 12 keepers and numerous throwbacks.

This trip was for our boys and their girlfriends before heading back to college and work this summer.  We had good weather and water, and a great crew and captain. 

We started a little later, at 8am though this was a change for the better as our original scheduled time was 1pm for an afternoon outing.  Captain also recommended a six hour charter vs the available 5 hour, and then offered a switch to AM due to better conditions. We had a total of 8 in our group and everyone had a great time. 

The crew were great as we had mostly a group that have never gone ocean fishing before and the fist mate and mate really helped out getting lines back in the water, hooked up and fish on! 

Captain got us out quick to fishing spots and ensured we were on fish and if not, then a quick move to another spot.  We caught our fill and had a great day on the water.  Fish tacos that night!

Just B Cause Captain Ken and his Deck Mates Spencer and Alto gave us an awesome fishing trip ! Caught some nice Red Snapper, Black Snapper and Grooper. Caught a ton of B liners also ! Highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Ken !
