Great boat and crew. Can’t thank Carson enough for his help w our tackle and technique! Tough day as far as it seems we weren’t on the fish we really thought we’d be chasing as this was our 3rd trip of the week and wanted this trip to be about finding some big fish to counter all the redfish, vermillion and mackerel we had been catching all week. The Amberjack was a lot of fun but that was mostly Carson doing the work to get in hook. Not unhappy at all but do wish we had stuck to the plan to find some more of the fish we hadn’t seen. The trigger fish were nice to catch as we hadn’t caught any this week and they were very tasty! Not many big fights on the rods so maybe next time we can find a way or time of year that best suits what we were trying to fish for.

We booked a 12hr trip had an awesome time as usual, Captain August never fails to put us on the fish, and Griffin works his his tail end off, at times it seems like there’s 3 of him!  The highlight of the trip for me was catching a limit of Mahi. We thought the odds of getting any Mahi this time of year would be slim, but Captain August pulled it off anyway!  We limited on a couple other species, and caught several larger fish that weren’t in season yet, but they sure are fun to catch anyway!  We’ll be enjoying fish dinners all summer, thanks guys!!!

Kelly Girl was the best!  Rainy day at the beach and we were afraid it would be a disappointing day to go fishing. It was amazing!  We first caught some bait fish and then headed out to deep water.  We caught fish almost every time we cast- even a 150 pound shark!  There were 9 of us ages 10-72. The Captain and deck hand were awesome. All the guys plan on making this an annual part of our family beach trip. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted on the dock and assisted with transferring our ice chests onto the boat. Following a safety brief, we headed out. The water was a little choppy, but it wasn’t too bad. The Captain worked hard to get us on some bigger fish, but they just weren’t cooperation. We did catch our fill on vermillion, white snapper, triggerfish, and lanes.  The deckhand was steadily working to help with fish and bait. We had a mix of first-timers, old and young, male and female. As soon as we were finished fishing, the deckhand went to work cleaning. The boat was almost spotless by the time we reached the dock. Once we got unloaded, the crew got our fisk out for a pic, then straight to be processed. The boat was very clean, and the crew was nice and helpful. It was definitely family oriented. I would highly recommend the boat to anyone I know.

We did the 6 hour trip. Our kids and their friends ranged from 18-22 and we were the old ones in our 40s. Our deck hand was super patient with my lack of skills with the rod. We all caught so many fish and had a fantastic time. The A/C in the lounge area gave us a comfy spot for a nice nap on the ride back in. Our kids are already talking about doing it again.
