Captain Matt definitely knew what he was doing and knows the best spots for catching alot of fish. At one point all we were doing was casting out and immediately reeling back in because we hooked a fish. Best experience I’ve ever had. My son said he wished we had unlimited money so we could take unlimited fishing trips. Thank you sooo much Captain Matt for an experience we will never forget.

This was a very productive and rewarding outing for two beginner/novice fishing brothers… we had two beautiful days of weather in 75° temperature, a boat that could handle all of the inland waterways with no problem and the myriad of back channels that would confuse anyone, except for our calm and accommodating captain. Matt was just a perfect example of a young man with a lot of knowledge and skill and devotion.  We successfully caught 11 different species of fish, definitely a successful trip, he was very responsive and made the private excursion a wonderful experience

What a great experience ! I took my 3 sons who really wanted to catch “real” fish on our vacation with an added goal of catching something we could eat. Although they love fishing we are more recreational in our fishing knowledge. Captain Matt contacted me prior to our trip and asked what we were hoping to to do. He suggested leaving a little earlier and said we would go after some trout and snook.

We caught several Trout, Snook and a lot more ! His boat was amazing , clean and well equipped. Captain Matt kept things moving and was patient showing all of us some tips and tricks along the way. He knows the area so well and loves what he does. We were catching fish within 15 minutes of being on the water. It was an amazing experience and we will definitely be calling Captain Matt every time we are in the area. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you are not sure if it will be worth the money to have someone take you out take it from a dad with a lot of trying to do my own fishing trips unsuccessfully on my own … it is ! Oh and the fish tacos we made with some of our catch that night were amazing!

This was our second trip with Captain Matt. We only caught two, but they were two fish of a lifetime. He goes above and beyond to make the trip an enjoyable experience. We are already planning on fishing with Captain Matt again when the tarpon appear in the NSB area.

We had a fantastic time with Captain Matt in Edgewater. We fished is several different spots and caught a variety of fish. He went above and beyond to help my 9 year old catch a whopper. Really pleased with the boat, the help and patience extended, and the overall fun and relaxing afternoon. We’ll definitely fish with him again when we’re in the area next.
