We were a party of five, (my wife and three boys). We caught at least 50 fish (15 different species) unfortunately only one keeper. Captain Kevin is great! He is definitely a safe pick for your family trip. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. We highly recommend! Thanks Kevin!

I will say we did catch a lot of small fish and fish we couldn’t keep due to out of season Did have plenty of bait but no chum for reef fishing only tried 3 spots close to shore again no chum overall did catch fish I think it’s more suited for someone who wants to catch fish and release them I wanted dinner and we barely caught a snack so it’s up to you we didn’t even troll coming or going as I said earlier if you have a kid or two they will catch fish for me I took my Ararat out a... Thank you Norm for taking the time to leave a review. Yes, it is true that Hogfish and Grouper are out of season until May 1st. and, I do use chum when it is necessary. However, when the fish are biting I may choose not to. This was a Patch Reef trip and Patch Reef fishing is done close to shore, any further out and we would be doing a different kind of fishing.
