A fantastic day, thanks to Durwood, who was on-site hours before the trip to buy extra shiners. He was incredibly knowledgeable about where they fish would be and when they would bite, and incredibly patient with someone not used to fishing with live bait. Got dozens of bites, and netted bunch once I finally figured out the hook set. An awesome time that I cannot recommend strongly enough.

Good trip cut short due to rain and lightning

What could be more fun than fishing shiners in Lake Toho?  Catching bass in windy conditions when most people would not go out!  We had a fun after noon with Aaron even though he warned us that conditions were tough.  He found some leeward areas that were more than comfortable and we boated plenty of bass.  We didn’t get mister Big, but 3-4 pounders are fun too.

Capt Gary was very knowledgeable about the lake. The weather was a bit cold and windy. We move from cove to cove trying to find hungry fish, we ended up with 1- 4lber that made the day worthwhile. I’ll be back and hope for better conditions and Horizons Capt Gary will be my first choice.
