I needed to make a memory with my 20 year old son and 19 year daughter, so I took a chance on hiring Captain Joe. We all 3 loved him. When the other guides had trouble, we still caught our limit. Captain Joe is kind, wise, fun and a phenomenal fisherman. We’d definitely use him again.

I took my daughter and granddaughters fishing. Joe was extremely nice, patience and knowledgeable. Joe put us on speckled trout and reds. Nice boat with room enough for the four of us and good gear (Falcon rods with Penn reels). Another great family memory. Thanks Captain Joe! And I will be back. Ron Hebert

My 8 year old son asked for a fishing trip for his birthday. Water was murky and there were heavy winds, not things that can be controlled. Regardless of this we were catching fish and having a blast. Joe was excellent with the kids and my oldest son already wants to go back for his birthday.

This was our first time out fishing in the Flats! Captain Joe was knowledgeable about the local marine life,  wildlife and fauna.  He was professional, respectful and patient with us as we navigated our first time fishing! We plan on booking another trip next time we’re in Port Aransas with Captain Joe!!

Took my son for his first charter with Captain Joe based largely on the reviews. We were not disappointed! It was a cold and windy day, but Joe’s excellent knowledge of the area had us hitting trout and sheepshead within 15 minutes! After a bit of a lull in the middle, we went to another hot spot and kept reeling ‘em in pretty much constantly. Not all keepers of course but my son (and I) loved the action.
