We arrived at the pickup spot about 15 minutes early and Capt Joe was already there. Headed out in his 22-ft. Tiburon flats boat for a splendid half day of fishing. Caught a total of 10 red fish although 4 were an inch or so less than legal limit so we threw them back. Caught 2 fish over 28-in long. Joe was extremely personable and an excellent guide. Captain Joe is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. A qualified captain and true sportsman, through and through. He was wonderful with our kids (12 and 9). He and his fellow captains were in regular communication about where fish were biting. Tip for those bringing out first-time salt-water “fisherkids”: go where the “big uglies” are biting early in your trip, to get your kids hooked (pun intended).

I booked this trip for my father, husband, brother and brother-in-law. The guys caught 3 great size Red fish and really enjoyed their time with Joe. They had nothing but great things to say about him and their overall experience.
