I'm Capt. Bobby Burnett. I am a sixth generation Floridian. Commercial and charter fishing has been a huge part of my life since I was born. After years of taking family and friends fishing for fun I decided to make it a career. I bought a boat, got a License and haven't looked back since. I love taking people out to see what the area has to offer. Each day is a new experience for me and my customers.
I generally fish live bait on light spinning gear. Techniques vary based on time of year and target species. I try my best to match a customer's ability level with the type of fishing we'll do. I'm comfortable taking advanced anglers as well as people that have never held a rod before. I also enjoy fishing with kids and teaching them everything they need to know.

3 Hour Trip – Afternoon Fun • 5 adults • 1 childMy father (68) wanted to fish in the ocean with his grandchildren (ages 12 & 14). My husband and I joined in thr fun as well. the children had fished in lakes before, but never the ocean. We booked the trip so we not only had a boat with equipment, but also a captain that could give us tips and knew the lay of the land. Our trip was exactly what we were looking for! The boat was perfect for our crew with everything we needed to have a fun morning fishing. Captain Bobby was fun, personable, and knowledgable. The 3 hrs flew by and we caught a variety of fish. We loved seeing dolphins and reeling in a shark. We would take this trip again and recommend it to all ages and skill levels of those wanting a few fun hours fishing the ocean!

Full Day Trip • 4 adultsSecond trip with captain Robert, and this trip was even better than last year. Out of my many years of booking fishing charters I can honestly say Captain Robert has been my favorite charter ever not once but now two years in a row. Great guy and guide who is down to earth, friendly, helpful and constantly puts you on the fish! Thanks again for another great trip, we look forward to seeing you again next year!

Half Day Trip (AM) • 6 adultsWe had a party of 6 of us. 3 couples. I was the only one who had even been fishing before. I have to give the Captain tons of credit he was very calm and relaxed and even got the ladies fishing. He made a point of taking us a little out of the way so the girls could see the manatees, dolphins and a huge colony of rays. He also took the time to actually drop us off literally at a boat launch across the street from our hotel in order to save us a big uber bill. Thanks again for a great time. We had a blast.

Half Day Trip (AM) • 5 adults • 3 childrenGreat pace for a family of five, Capt Bobby was patient and knowledgeable! We caught snook, grouper, trout and a couple others. We saw sea turtles, sharks, stingrays, dolphins and manatee. It was a 10/10 perfect day and we can’t wait to get back out there!

3 Hour Trip – Afternoon Fun • 2 adultsThree of us fished three spors and caught 30+ fish of various kinds. Capt. Bobby is knowlegable, helpful and persoanable. Porpoises jumping and manatees rounded out a great day on the water. We’ll fish with Capt. Bobby again!

Spring Forward!!!

After a looonnggggg cold winter (by Florida standards) it’s finally heating up. The sun is shining and the fish are hungry. We’ve been getting good action on snook and redfish. Spanish mackerel are starting to eat in the bay. Another couple degrees and we should be able to get kingfish and sharks off the beach.Cross your fingers for sun and no windy days?
