We had an awesome fishing trip with Captain Richard! He put us right on the fish, and we ended up catching a variety—black drum, bonnethead shark, dogfish shark, three stingrays, a speckled trout, a catfish, and multiple whiting. Captain Richard was fantastic with the kids—patient, encouraging, and genuinely excited to see them reel in their catches. It was a great experience all around, and I’d highly recommend him for anyone looking for a fun and successful day on the water!

This was probably one of the most fun experiences we’ve had. We took our 8 year old and 10 year old, and Captain Richard was SO great with them. We caught some massive black drums, sheepshead and a bonnet head shark. A few other smaller fish I don’t remember. We went first thing in the morning so the sunrise over the ocean while we fished was beautiful too. 10/10 recommendation, well definitely book again in the future.

Captain Richard did a spectacular job getting us on fish and crab in the first 30 minutes. We mentioned up front that we wanted red drum and he kept that in mind the whole time. At first, we landed a few undersized reds but then later in the day we landed two 34-38” bull reds. Captain Richard took us out for a 4 hour trip.  We caught a red and drum fish.  My family and I had so much fun and came home with some fish to eat.  Would definitely come back and do it again.

Richard was patient and friendly and made for a great experience for everyone, 4 adults and two kids.  We were on fish quick and caught our limit of speckled trout.  We caught plenty of other fish too, Red drum, black drum, sheep head.  We were able to fish for shark and almost had one in.  He cleaned the fish and told us where to go to have them cook it up, Huli Huli hut.  No extra fees.  I can’t say enough good about Captain Richard, he made it a great trip.
