caught a sail fish and couple other bog fish

We had our money’s worth. We fished for 8 hours non stop. Caught 5 fishes, the staff prepared us a ceviche on board, I was delicious.
would recommend.

Was a great time aboard and besides catching a fish we have seen many many turtles

It was an okay day overall. The captain and crew were friendly and did their best to make the experience enjoyable. We headed to a reliable spot near the island where most boats were catching bonito and a few skipjack, and we were able to get in on that action as well. We also saw humpback whales, dolphins, and sea turtles, which was a nice bonus and made for a memorable day on the water.
That said, the trip did not fully match what we expected for an 8 hour open water trolling charter. When we requested to head offshore to troll, we ended up getting skunked. The bigger issue was the boat itself. It is quite old and only one motor was working, so it was very slow getting out to the fishing grounds. A significant portion of the day was spent traveling at low speed rather than actively fishing.
The exhaust fumes were strong throughout the day, even when sitting on the upper level, which made it uncomfortable at times. The rear fishing area was also very cramped with two anglers and two crew members working in a tight space. Additionally, one of the mates was in a full boot cast, and the interior of the boat felt dated and worn.
For the price, considering the boat condition, slow speed, and overall setup, it did not quite deliver the value we were hoping for. It was not a bad day, but there is definitely room for improvement.
